Ceylon tea with natural essences of bergamot, the most famous and classic of flavored teas takes its name from its inventor and great drinker Lord Grey. Legend has it that Lord Grey, a member of the British Parliament, received a bergamot as a gift from a friend returning from Italy and decided to add a slice to black tea, the fruit released all its aroma in the cup and thus was born the legendary Bergamot tea called Earl Grey tea.
