Rice is the most consumed cereal by the human population in the world. It is a light, detoxifying food and a great ally for various types of problems.

Originated in 4000 BC in China near the Himalayan mountain range, today rice is cultivated all over the world and satisfies 50% of the food needs for the general population. In Italy it is produced mainly in Piedmont, Lombardy, Emilia Romagna and Veneto; secondarily in Tuscany, Sardinia and Calabria.
